Help 2 LG Tributes with the same problem. Could use help.

So, I bought my parents a pair of these last year. Seemed a good entry level smart phone. They worked fine up until a week ago. Both of the file managers now crash saying that "Google Plus has stopped" If I remove all Google Plus updates, and clear the cache it works for about a day then starts again. I installed a new file manager for them that works fine, but my father is OCD about a minor thing not working. I don't want to have to root them to uninstall the other file manager, but not sure what else to do. If anyone has any ideas I would be most appreciative.

TL;DR: File Managers Broke with Google Plus Crashing. Please Help. :)

Does Google Plus use a lot of space? Social networking apps usually use quite a bit of space to store pictures, videos, media files, etc. Maybe the problem has to do with too much data and/or lack of space? Just a thought.

A few weeks ago, I ran into a low memory problem that I tracked down to Google Play Services misbehaving. I'd regularly have to go to System | Apps | Downloaded | Google Play Services and tap on "Manage space" and then "Clear all" to free it all up, but within a few hours it would happen all over again (with high battery usage too).

I tried a variety of things, but the only thing that worked was to root the phone and turn off write permissions to the database files that Google Play Services was writing to.

I can supply more details if this sounds like what's happening with you.
