Help 2 lock screens. How to get rid of one

My MT4G running 2.2 has 2 lock screens. The native one that you swipe down and the pattern unlock that I assigned. Not sure how to disable the first one. I only want the pattern lock.

How do I disable the first one?

try disabling the pattern lock in the settings, then disabling the slider lock. then restore the one you want. should be in 'location and security' in the settings. im not sure it will work but its worth a shot. i cant remember if thats how its supposed to work when on stock (slider and pattern) =/

I'm seeing that too. Unfortunate. This is my 3rd Android and had probably 5 ROMS on the HD2 after a NAND flash. This is the only phone I have had that this can't be bypassed...
