i want to buy a used 2015 macbook pro 15" (16G+512G) to use final cut pro....is it good enough or should i update to the 2016 model or 2017 one?

That 2015 model is no slouch, so yes it'd good enough for Final Cut work, especially with that 16GB of RAM:

But some of the newer models have 1 or 2 or larger SSD drives and while the model you referred to has that very respectable 512GB PCI-e Flash storage, depending on the size of those sizable video files you'll be working on and how many you'll need to keep around at any given time that might be a factor.

Just keep in mind this being an Android help site I'd imagine you'll get more relevant and hands-on experience advice from an Apple site.
