One thing's for sure - they're not going to be beating England on penalties this time.
 
Now it would be perfect if we saw off this lot too.

Denmark v Croatia match. We have just witnessed an incident, which for me sums up the poor spirit in which this game is played -

Croatian attacker received a very skilful and precise through ball, which put him clean through the Denmark defence. Literally just the goalkeeper to beat. He neatly sidesteps the keeper open goal ahead, and is brought down cynically from behind by a defender. Of course it's a penalty, but the commentator comment was "well it was worth giving away the penalty to avoid the certain goal". WTH? What happened to sportsmanship? Honour? Fair play?

Bear in mind that this was in the dying seconds of extra time, and would have undoubtedly won the match for Croatia.
To rub salt into the wound, Croatia then missed the penalty. :rolleyes:

I really hope Croatia now go on to beat the cheating bastards on penalties.

Nice! Justice has been done, and Croatia have won the match (just) on deciding penalties. Shame they had to win it twice though.

Wouldn't it be great if they won it? Most of the favourites must be out now.
 
And this unfortunately is what happens when some idiots can't handle alcohol or celebrate responsibly.
