Notice how the guy also said that Kia was going down the drains too, even though it did a lot better than GM this year.
Seriously, this guy has some trouble with his facts. For example:
1) T-Mobile has faster theoretical speeds than 4G from Sprint (and has room to go even faster)... so why does it need to have a 4G network?
2) Cheaper plans than AT&T, Verizon, and even Sprint, will go a long way with consumers looking to save money
3) T-Mobile with Virgin Mobile... aren't they kinda operated here in the US by Sprint-Nextel (who also runs the Boost brand?), on entirely incompatible frequencies?
4) No brand equity??? I think he may be confusing them with Sprint, who not only can't provide good coverage in its own World HQ city (Kansas City) but is also has been bleeding customers to the other telecoms (including T-Mo)
5) Granted, T-Mobile is a smaller telecom, but it also has a heck of a lot better customer service than the other three. I can call up T-Mobile, tell them my issue, and low and behold, my issue is fixed on that same phone call.
So, I'm sorry Mr. McIntyre (author of the story), but I call BS.
Note: I am not a T-Mo employee, just simply a very happy and loyal T-Mobile customer who thinks the author of that article is full of himself.
