The .28 Firmware will be available this week to address ANR issues and unlock a couple of new features. I will start beta testing of the next firmware release with specific Browser performance enhancements this week.

FYI, "ANR" means "Application Not Responding". If you're rooted, be sure to protect it with OTA Root Keeper!
 
Wifi, bluetooth, and ANR have been tweaked and fixed some issues. Wifi is much stronger now, GPS is locking on better now.

Face Unlock is now working.
 
Got the update this morning, everything went smoothly, didn't even ask that I be plugged in.

Face Unlock is cool & fun; my Wifi worked well before; my GPS seems to be still nonexistent & I assume blocked by the back never to be fixed by firmware/software update alone! (I have my GPS dongle, but surprisingly have never tried it on.)
 
I wish they would fix the finicky keyboard issues I have...

And seems like since last update, battery has been draining like mad.

I haven't performed this update yet.. I will in about an hour.
 
Downloaded it and not happy. It's draining my battery a lot faster and my Wifi sucks even worse now. I literally sat my Prime on top of my router and only got two bars. Before I would get full bars within 5 feet of the router. Browser got worse and I won't even bother to mention YouT (buffering......) ube
 
I am not a believer in wifi bars. Imho I think the indicator can be tweaked to show more bars than what's "real". Actual data speeds would be a better indicator.

As for battery, I couldn't tell you. I "think" I am seeing better performance but I haven't played with it a lot.

Assume you rebooted? If in a couple of says it doesn't shake out, maybe a factory reset is in order. I have yet to perform one myself since I received Dec 22.

I am still getting a lot of ANR's in the stock browser.
 
Rebooted twice. Still the same. I gave it a full charge last night and left it turned off. I just turned it on and typing on it right now. At work and used to get full bars on the WiFi here but now only 2 bars. I'm about to run Speedtest and see what I get. I'll update on the test and battery later.
 
Just did Speed Test. Very bad numbers. On download I used to get 5k-6k here at work and just recorded 2377. Upload used to be between 1900k - 2700 and now 970. About to make a new app out this tablet---frisbee
 
I downloaded update last nite. I'm rooted with stock OS. Used VooDoo Rootkeeper before doing update. No problems.

I haven't noticed any decrease in battery life or dl/ul speeds.
 
Updated last night and besides the left side of the screen wigging out once it seems to be doing better especially with the random restarts gone......so far!

Yeah mine did the same thing. The left edge of my screen had like a stroke or something. I rebooted and then it was fine. Still scared me though.
