3 Wishes...There's a bit of app confusion on my Droid

First of all, when the phone has been asleep for a while and someone calls, I get the dang clock screen saver and can't get to the buttons to slide an answer. I've got screensaver unchecked and have BetterClock installed.

Second, I had Weather and Toggle Widget installed first w/ the additional icon pack and then I installed Beautiful Widgets and am currently running BW. When ever I unlock my screen, I have windshield wipers and rain before I get my smiley sun from the emotisun weather skin...what could be causing this?

Third, I wish there was an reboot app that would simulate shutting the phone down and popping the battery...seems I need to do this at least every other day and I don't to add wear and tear by popping the cover off the back. Thanks, Cyn

Problem 1 is almost certainly that Better Clock thing, check in the settings to see if there's something you can change. If not, try uninstalling!

Problem 2 could be a cache problem, try clearing it. But I'd just turn off the weather animations on the unlock screen. You have to touch once just to get access to the slider.

I like BW but they are kind of half-baked. Shouldn't have stuff like that on by default.

Actually, I forgot to state those windshield wipers and rain animation are from Weather and Toggle Widget, so what's up w/ that

well there wasn't any cache, but I cleared the data from better alarm clock and from Weather and Toggle, we'll see....

1. Check settings of the clock app you have there.
2. BW has a setting for that.
3. QuickBoot and other apps.
