$35 2.5GB plan coming Feb 3, 2015

It says existing customers can switch to this new plan, so I don't see why you wouldn't be able to save some cash :)

That's what I'm thinking. I'm not a fan of auto-paying my bills but I'll probably go for this to save a few bucks.

I was on shrinkage paying $40/mo for the 2.5gb/mo. But then switched to the 5gb/mo for the extra $5/mo. And I've always had Auto-pay. I wonder if they will drop me back to $40/mo?? Or maybe I will just switch to the $35/mo 2.5gb auto-pay plan. Nothing like saving some money.... I'll just use more WiFi.

They don't mention an auto pay discount for the $45 plan so I doubt they would give you a special price for 5GB.

But if you can manage on 2.5GB I'd go with saving $10 a month. :thumbsupdroid:

My wife and I are both paying $40 on the shrinkage plan and will switch as soon as they make it available. I'm sure she can find somewhere to spend the extra $10 a month.

Yeah, look at the chart in the link that summarizes the 4 Data Boost plans that will be available. This new one isn't really a discounted version of an existing plan. Although it essentially works out that way for grand-fathered $40 shrinkage customers.

I've been on Boost since the Transform Ultra came out, but yikes, with Cricket announcing 2.5GB for $35 w/ autopay, if I could do that and get a BlackBerry Passport... I was really kinda hoping Boost Mobile would get a BB10 device at some point, but why wait?

I already have 6 months paid in advance on my Boost account, so I'll have to ride it out, and I've always loved Boost since I got grandfathered Shrinkage and they actually had good QWERTY smartphones, but I've eaten the forsaken fruit of the Passport and I want to go back for seconds :p

I just signed up for the $35 2.5 gig plan and my account now says my next due amount will be $45. When I called Boost about this they said it will auto deduct to $35 at time of payment with Auto Pay plan. Hope they are right. Thought you should know.

I just switched my account to the new plan too. My due date is on 13th so have to wait and see if it all goes smoothly.

My account updated properly and I received a bunch of texts confirming everything. Checked my credit card too and looks correct.

All worked well for me. My new payment is now $35 a month so I save $60 a year with this new plan. I also switched my wife's phone to this plan. For her she now gets 2.5 gig from the 1 gig plan she was on.

I am happy because since I had all that money already accredited to my account, I was worried that with autopay that they would bypass the money already on my account and pull it from my checking account, but instead they only pulled it from my account balance. Nice! I would've been not a happy customer had the latter been the case, I was worried I'd get punished for having a balance on my account and would have been forced into paying the $40/mo instead. $35 is much better, but I'll still be making the switch to Cricket when my balance runs dry.
