3500 mah battery review

As we all know...the indulge battery life is super poor. So i went ahead on ebay and saw that they had a 3600 mah battery as well as a 3500(black and white color) mah battery. I went ahead and purchased the 3500 mah because it was located in the US, and I didnt want to wait a million years for the 3600 mah battery to come from hong kong. Here are my thoughts on the 3500 mah battery...

Its disappointing to say the least. However, it does last a few hours longer than the stock battery. I only managed to get about 5 and a half hours of usage from it doing some moderate browsing and sending text. and the phone would say the battery was fully charged wen it was only @ 80 percent.Does anybody else have experience with the 3500mah battery???


I was checking out the reviews on the 3600 mah battery on these forums...and the majority of people are raving about it saying it last 12 hours etc etc. Im about to order the 3600 and wait the 12 days fo it to get to me from hong kong. it seems totally worth the wait.



Does anybody have both the 3500mah and the 3600mah??? how do they both compare?
 
You may not have fully charged the battery if you got such poor results. I'm able to get 3-4 hours of constant 4G use from my stock 1500ma battery.
 
You have to overcharge this battery. You cannot just drop it in and trust that it's a 100 percent charged. The stock OS (which if your battery life is so poor, I'm assuming you're running unrooted) will not see that it is not fully charged. Basix does a bit better.

But if you root and Flash a rom, I guarantee you'll see better battery life. If you fully charge this thing (as in get it almost discharged then charge it all the way to full with the phone off, starting it up letting it boot then shutting it down and charge again, you'll get way better battery life than this. I promise.

Of course if you did do all these things already, I apologize, you just got a bunk battery.

Thanks for the review. I myself purchased the 3600 from HongKong and its been about 10 days so far. That thread about the Ebay battery made me an instant buyer from the reviews!

Hope the 3500mAh last ya till you get your 3600 ;)
 
@creativeone: yea, im only on day 3 unfortunately :-(. the next ten days are gonna be torture. haha


@yawa: do you personally own the 3500 mah battery?? if so, how is the performance for u??
