3G EVO + Verizon = When?

I have searched and searched to find if a 3G only EVO or another non-4G version of the EVO will be released on Verizon? Does Anybody know? What are they calling it? Does it even exist? When will they release it?

I like the Droid X but I don't want all that Motorola Blur crap that they tend to throw on, plus I really like the front facing camera on the EVO.

I am coming from a Blackberry (because they suck) so I am new to the Android thing and lookin' for some help.
 
they are realeasing a verizon version of the Galaxy S series. that is the closest 3g only phone that will come close from what i can tell.
 
Never heard anything about a 3G-only version of the Evo going to anyone, don't expect that to happen.

HTC already released a 3G Evo on Verizon, it's called the Incredible.

Similar internals, but I wouldn't call them close enough to be the same phone. The Incredible is minus the front facing camera and the screen is 0.6" smaller. More like cousins than fraternal twins to me.
