Hi, I live in the UK, in a town north of Liverpool and the T-Mobile mast is only a couple of streets away, I always have full signal. However when I switch on my amazing phone ;) the 3G symbol is displayed and works for about a minute then it switches to a G (GPRS). I would like to know why it does this when, I essentially live next to a t-mobile mast, the 3G cuts out almost instantly and is replaced by GPRS signal. Please help as I would love an always on 3g :)

Check the website for data coverage, or call T-Mobile. The simplest answer is that you're not in a strong 3G area, and you can't do anything about that.

The other possibility is that you're in a 3G area but your phone is messed up.

Your question is really for T-Mobile, as nobody short of an employee would know why your phone is behaving this way.
