Help 4.1.2 OTA update screwed up the phone

Ok, my mom has the Rush phone. She's accepted the most recent ota update 4.1.2 JB. And now her apps won't open, can't see her pictures. The phones tells her there's not enough memory to run Netflix or Fbook. Although everything was working just fine before the JB update. What should be done? Thanks for input and ideas.

As I don't know enough about his specific situation (Does he have the phone in his possession? Did his mother think to bring the cable along when she gave it to him? Did she buy it refurbished on eBay without a cable?) I felt it necessary to cover all bases one at a time.

If you want to take over helping this guy with his mother's phone, have at it.

It's cool, but assuming anything about anyone here is one of the biggest roadblocks when it comes to helping.

I uninstalled unused apps and rebooted it. Netflix and pics are all good now. I think the problem was the fact that she doesn't have an sdcard in it so the internal memory is pretty used up. Granted there was still 1GB left when it was denying access. I dunno, it seems to be working fine now. Thanks for trying to help. I'll let ya know if it f's up again.

K, it's been a lil bit, my bad. But mom says the phone is ALL F'D UP!! The keyboard doesn't flip to landscape and says she's can't really do jack shiz on it besides call. Think it keeps freezing up too. I have the USB cord for it. What does anybody think the problem is? Pry delete all installed apps or would a data and cache wipe do it? Factory reset? Thanks ahead of time

I think you should have disabled her unused apps, instead of removing them

I removed em cuz it kept saying that there isn't enough memory to use the other apps that she DOES use. So, I figured that I would free up some space, even though there was still 1GB left on the internal memory.
