Well got the update yesterday afternoon. Battery life seems to be slightly better (for my device) but I've experience some lag that I never had before the update.

whenever i use google search i get a "cant load search results" this is a huge bug and need it fixed..anyone else having the same problem?

This happens a lot. I did not have this before 4.4.3 but now it appears every 30 minutes

I truly believe people having issues still is due to an app or not knowing how to use android. I have no issues.

And to the people saying, "my battery life sucks now", it's probably because your using your phone more to check out the update and burning it up unknowingly.

Camera bug still exists in this update, I am sad to say. My battery life appears to be slightly worse as well (and no I am not using my phone any differently than I did before I updated)

It happened right after I used snapchat for a bit and tried to reopen the camera using the camera app. Also used to happen after I used couple, although it hasn't happened like that since the update yet.

As far as I know, that wasn't the "big" camera bug that this update was supposed to fix. The bug the tech sites were complaining about was battery drain after using camera.

Not sure if they're related or separate bugs

I used to get what you're describing ("can not connect to camera") as well, but I haven't had that happen since i updated to 4.4.3 and finally updated to the latest snapchat.

I thought the two were related. It was my understanding that when the bug happened an app wouldn't release the camera, no app would be able to open the camera, and the "mm-qcamera-daemon" (spell check) would go crazy. I thought they were all the same thing.

Its possible they are related or even the same bug - I was just meaning to say I wasn't versed it in well enough to know.

I'll be sure to post if I see it happen again, but fingers crossed it hasn't happened yet

I truly believe you are wrong, particularly since I initially had battery issues.

My battery issues (was having Android OS be 30% or higher of battery drain) seemed to go away with an update to the Chrome app. Since others seemed to identify the Chrome app as an issue with battery drain, I suspect that the older Chrome app and 4.4.3 didn't play well together. I'm guessing there may be other apps that have (or had) similar problems.

Chrome has long been at times a battery hog (ever since android 4.0). Sometimes is seems like battery life is affected completely differently update to update. However, in general battery life appears to have improved (in that battery is affected less) over the years.

I think any high battery drain issues generally can be explained by an app conflict and even sometimes an otherwise harmless app which caches incorrectly can hang the system up, even after a reboot the battery drain persists. This happened to me recently...

For instance, I had a few apps update on Friday. Friday night and Saturday all day I was seeing 2 to 2.5% per hour idle phone drain. After seeing something was wrong, I simply went into recovery, wiped Cache/Dalvik and rebooted.

Now my idle phone runs around 1/2% per hour drain.

Basically the same thing can be done without root on your phone, you just need to open Developer options in the settings menu and then select a different Run time. Go from Dalvik to ART or go from ART to Dalvik and the phone has to rebuild it's own cache on reboot. I don't know if this can be a consistent fix or not, never done it a bunch myself.

Long story short, usually any unidentifiable high drain issues can be solved by doing that.

Got the update last night.1st use of the camera didn't go well but seems ok the 2nd time i tried it and i don't know if it's just my circumstances but my battery level has dropp by half since this morning and i'm a light usage user and i could easily goa day with a single nightly charge.I've restarted the phone and will keep an eye on it over the next couple of days.

anybody else having problems sending texts? I can recieve them but for some odd reason can't send them. I'm on straight talk att and have tried just about every apn setting i can find.

No problems with at&t network. This happen after the update?

After the update to 4.4.3 on my Nexus 5, my Bluetooth controls no longer work. I can still connect to all my Bluetooth devices, but the buttons now do nothing. Although sound will still be sent to them and play fine.

Anyone else having this issue?

I BT'd mine to the car stereo today, don't often do it so no reference but every time i restarted the car i had to pause and then press play to get it to start again.I'm pretty sure it didn't do that before the update
