4.4 vs flash

So it appears that Google is going the way of apple... First they stopped supporting it... Cool, I'm fine with that. If I, the owner of my device still wanted it, I could get it. Now they have gone and removed the API's required to even run it if I still have use for it (amazon instant video anyone?)... I hear dolphin is working on a solution, any other efforts our there by geniuses like chainfire?

The paid version of Puffin browser supports flash in JB, it has a 14 day trial to see if it works for you.

I should note that the plugin no longer works here for boat. :( It was working before when I posted...........

Edit; it looks like flash for boat browser for tablets is still working........

So long as you have boat browser for tablets you just need to side load the last version of flash for Android, if you haven't already........

Edit; I have found with either boat browser enabling (request desktop) breaks the plugin.......

I'll host the ICS apk for a bit. you need to in security enable Unknown Sources. Then a file browser will let you install the file.

Edit I should note I installed this a while ago, not too sure how the newer versions of Android will like the older APK.................

The one with a strange name in the zip is a hacked ics file that I tested to install on my 4.4 fine. YMMV........

Thanks for this link to a flash fix :D. I just followed the instructions and it worked great for Amazon videos in the Dolphin browser. Now if only we won't have to do it again after the next OS update.
