I just drove from Philadelphia to Cleveland (~800 mile round trip) and used it for navigation the entire trip. It never got warm and it kept a full charge!
I have had a few instances of lag recently, so I might want to think about a reset, but I was hoping to wait unti the Oreo update was released to do that.

Oreo sounds good.
One month short of a year and still no major problems.
