Hello! Hi! Bom dia!
I only have this problem at work, and it started after the last Samsung upgrade, as I used to be able to use 4g at work. My tablet automatically switches to wifi at work, and I can turn wifi off, but once I do, my 4G doesn't automatically come on so I have no internet connection. In fact, I can't figure out how to get my 4G to work at all while at work. I turn off wifi, I check the airplane mode, I go into Mobile Networks and click off and on to all 3 options, and still no 4G. When checking the status, it says, Mobile network state: Disconnected.
To get it back into 4g after I leave work, I HAVE to restart it. The exception to this is if I connect with a different wifi network, where I can then turn off wifi, and my 4g reappears (as it should when I'm at work).
Since my work has a filter on their wifi, there are times I'd like to access something not available through wifi and need access to 4g.
Wondering what everyone thinks of their tablets? I haven't been too happy with my tablets (I also have the first Ipad). For one thing, both have been really slow accessing the internet (Verizon 4G...come on! My Verizon HTC phone is much quicker), and just generally processing. I get impatient, touch the screen to do something else about the time the processing ends, thus end up touching something which takes me somewhere, like an advertisement, I had no desire to go to. This happens a LOT. I'm also annoyed that I can't play anything with Flash anymore...that's the reason I went out and bought an Android tablet, and gave the Ipad to my teenage son. (Besides I am not a big fan of Apple (the IPAD was my first and only Apple purchase) and their proprietary waaah waah waah ...cry me a freakin river you gzillionaires.)
Thanks for any advice! (I'm not always such a complainer...I'm just not that thrilled with my tablet experiences.)
