4G network? HTC one

I've just recently bought Sim card for my HTC one and activated it. I can't use the internet connection 4G network? LTE is out of the question. Even though it shows 4G symbol on top but when I use the browser's or other online application, it doesn't work. I thought the Metro SIM card comes with the 4G data connection or is it only text and call? Because that will be pitied.

PS: Wi Fi , calling and texting works perfectly.

Have you checked the APN settings?

Might just be temp network issues. My data has been out since yesterday. 4G symbol shows but Nada. Called metro and they said that some areas were experiencing outages & that they're working on it. I'm in central CA using a LG Motion 4G.
