4g question?!?!?!?!?

so im going to get the bionic when its released and im not particularly sure if i have 4g in my area and was wondering if this would affect the battery life on my phone as it would be looking for 4g constantly???? or if it doesnt really matter as every single person who buys the bionic necessarily has 4g....also do u guys think there will be some sort of app to turn on/off the 4g radio???

On the Charge, you can go into the settings and tell the phone to only use the 3G radio. I would imagine that the same option would be built into the Bionic.

It should be built in. It wasn't on the bolt at release and vzw got so many complaints the had to add it in an ota
