So yeah....I upgraded to 5.1 (CM12.1, to be exact) and now I have a default notification tone chiming every time my network drops out, comes back, or switches between 3G, 4G, LTE, whichever. It is seriously annoying; I never enabled any kind of notification like that setting this thing up.
I have searched high and low in menus, in settings, sounds, notifications, profiles, dialer settings, network settings, everywhere. Can't shut it off or silence it without squelching all other important notifications.
I also noticed my network switches back and forth in the usual areas, but seems its a very long pause between switching? Tried wiping all the usual things in TWRP and nothing changes.
Anybody having similar issues? Or at least some way to kill the network notification chime?
Thanks! ~spec
