Moto X is $49.99 on Verizon, now through 11/18. It's on the splash page but still shows $99.99 when you click for more info though.

'Heather' on live-chat said it will change when you actually place the order. She "placed" an order through MotoMaker and said it did reduce the price. Nice.

Edit: The MotoMaker site says $50 off for Verizon, applies it to off contract prices as well.
 
Nice deal with the discount, but Vzw always charge a $30 activation fee. Why for upgrades is beyond me!
 
Yep, that's it, because they can. Last time I looked on Tmobile site, they said will waive the $35 activation fee. I'm not sure for how long or if it was for new contracts.
 
Just got a price adjustment from Monday's order. They offered me a $50 credit for Moto accessories. I probably could have pushed to get a refund in cash, since my credit card company will do that even if Moto doesn't want to.

However, I need a car dock anyway so it was easiest to just take the credit.

My Moto rep offered me either $50 in accessories or a $50 visa gift card. I decided to go with the gift card, but it'll take a whopping 4-6 weeks to ship to me.

Either way, Motorola has won me over as a customer with their service so far. Good stuff!!
 
Best Buy web site is now offering Moto X for $0.00 with 2-year contract extension for Verizon. They are surely making it hard for me to leave Vzw. I'll wait and see if it's like that tomorrow. I guess you won't be able to customize it, but that will be fine.

That didn't last long. I'll wait to see what's available for Black Friday.
 
I called Moto to see about a $50 credit, but the agent said it expired yesterday on Verizon. However: he said because I was a "loyal Motorola customer" ( well, I got the OG Droid in 2009 :D ) he would be sending me a complimentary $40 headset!

Okay, I use Bluetooth but I'll bet with the Holidays coming up I can find a use for it!
