5 ways ATT/IPhone rip you off!

Sorry but that is a very poorly researched article.
Data is required for all smartphones on AT&T not just iPhones and is actually required on every carrier.
The ETF on AT&T increase to $325 is for all smartphones on AT&T not just the iPhone. And the ETF on Verizon for a smartphone is more $350.
The upgrade fee can be gotten out of by most AT&T customers and they charge it for every phone not just the iPhone. Now if your upgrade date has come they will wave it on many phones and just lower it on the iPhone but asking will get it removed period. So this is the lazy persons fee.
The new price for tethering is for every smartphone on AT&T not just the iPhone.
The app part I can not speak about much since I have not checked it out really. But based off how poorly the rest of the article was researched would not shock me if it was wrong as well.

Problem, LoyalServant?

Wow, that really is a horrible, horrible article. They could replace AT&T and iPhone with Verizon and Incredible or Sprint and Evo without really even needing to change much more than the ETF fees.

And LoyalServant, that article seems more geared toward trying to get Android users readership, not Apple sackriders, they wouldn't believe a single word of that article.

Almost. I do think mandated data fee's on Android phones is a good thing though, they access the cloud for syncing' etc a lot more than you guys think. But turning Sync completely off should work too.... But I think there should be an option with NO data plan at all, with all carriers, as long as your off-contract.
