I checked out the article and was SO excited to see a LinkedIn app but when I checked it out (both in the market and AppBrain) there is a message: INBOX IS BROKEN AND WILL BE REMOVED IT WILL BE AVAILABLE IN DROIDIN-2.

So I checked the website and there is a post from the developers on 4/20/2010:

Dear all.

Here’s piece of somewhat sad news. The DroidIn’s Inbox functionality was broken by latest round of UI changes at LinkedIn and Inbox in both Lite and paid versions is no longer functional (it will be in fact removed in upcoming maintenance release)

The silver lining is that DroidIn 2 will be fully based on LinkedIn API and will not suffer from the similar fate. The existing version of DroidIn WILL NOT BE FIXED by the simple reason that such fix will take too much time, may be impossible and will not guarantee that it will not be broken in the future.

All paid users of DroidIn will be able to upgrade to DroidIn 2 at no charge, however if you want to return the purchase please do so.
