Welcome to:
LineageOS Jelly Browser Mod

This browser is a official browser for LinageOS modded to include fixes and new features that puts you in control within android's built in features so you don't have to root your device to alter built in functions and wthis does not affect the OS/Device at all

Features:

  • Intensive settings for you to change giving you ultimate control how the browser acts.

  • Uses mozilla 5.0 insteas of 4.0 so google can sign n with no issues.

  • Webview dependent this allows for better optimization and security using Google's built-in "Android System Webview".

  • Browser can find accounts on your device to login to your favorite websites even if you never used the app before.

  • Can be installed on any device with or without root.

  • Dynamic HTML 5 Adaptation this allows the browser to adjust if a website has changed their sites design or system so you will always have a supported browser (Limited to sites that requires other types of browsers).

  • Optimized for low end spec devices and low battery usage.

  • Supports Android 7.0+ & Higher

  • Support For Developers (devs can use in browser tools to create websites or simply test other things that requires a mobile browser)

IMPROTANT: Since the mod is new, some or most of the new features may or may not function properly & are currently is in a Alpha testing phase. We HIGHLY recommend reporting bugs on this thread or Github using the application ONLY!

This browser is now available for download & now available on Aptoide and if you receive some kind of malware message keep in mind "I DO NOT UPLOAD OR BUILD APPS TO BRING MALWARE OR HARM TO DEVICES" the reason for this message is because no one votes up on the builds so Aptoide is confused what to acually label the app!

Do you have a browaer installed such as com.android.browser or an all using the current package name?

Is there an open source for your browser work? I'd like to add it to ROMs, when applicable
The browser is open source but havent uploaded the sourve code at all to prevent scammer to use it for evil, ive seen this hqppen before so if you wish to use this in your rom just add the apk to the rom or in the flasher

Updated browser to v8.0.7 with new features and fixes view changelog below OP

I closed it a year or 2 ago but i think i still have the files in a cloud somewhere

ok now I understand, it would be good if you publish it in sgh t599n, ho that you will spend it to use it as a base of my rom, since I am stabilizing the rom of miteculus 6.0.1, it would be nice if the GamerROM resurfaced since I never probe it

The Autohide doesn't seem to be working for me in RR_5.8.5. i.e if viewing an image on a website that has a "View Fullscreen", etc option, I'm still seeing the top of the Jelly ui w/ the url string. How is it exaclty supposed to work?
Thanks
