Help $7 3500mAh battery not charging in phone?

Curious if anyone else has the ebay 3500mAh battery with the MT4G and if anyone has gotten it to successfully to charge while in the phone?

(flashes green/orange led consistently when i try to charge in phone)

Mine doesn't and I'm about to return it and get an exchange for another.

Anyone know if it does or doesn't charge in phone needing an external charger?

Must be a defective battery. Get a replacement. If that doesn't work get a refund.

Did just that! New one charges in phone fine.
