700 MHz

So, I hear Vzw and ATT both use 700 MHz for LTE (ATT also uses 1700 MHz), could it be that if you use an ATT micro SIM on a Vzw phone, that you can surf ATT's 4G waves? (And vice versa) I would guess yes, but I don't understand 4G fluently enough to say yes confidently. Anyone else understand the tech better that can answer?

Furthermore, does this mean that when LTE can do data and voice (well data by treating voice as such) together, you can hop across service providers (given that your phone is unlocked, of course)?

I doubt you will be able to. Per this article
Verizon and AT&T both run their LTE networks in the 700-MHz band. But Verizon's network is mostly in 746-787MHz, while AT&T's will be primarily in 704-746MHz. Some Verizon and AT&T spectrum overlaps in an area called the "lower B block," but not much. Verizon could build its phones to exclude AT&T's frequencies, and vice versa.
