Switching back to Android from Windows Phone has given me an interesting perspective. Now that I've had the time to fully adjust back to Android there are a few things that I think Windows Phone does better than Android. Here are the 8 things I miss the most.

Just read the article, but really didn't see anything that you cannot do with Android. Am I missing something??

Ps. I hate these "read more..." and then it goes to the webpage...

the list looks like desperate grab at weak reasons.

1. he rather wait or have unofficial apps?? that is better than many many app choices? really?

2. customization.."it cant".. but says change background and text colors is better? really?

3. Battery saver mode.. android has it too.

4. volume control.. my Samsung S3 and Note3 can change any 4 different sound category sound levels.

5. Buttery smooth... I don't have a windows phone to compare. my devices seem fine to me.

6. hardware camera button... if that is important.. there are android phones that have this too.

7. Multitasking.. what "looks" better is opinionated.

8. App list vs Drawer... if you only have a few apps in stalled, then a list is good. since there are only a few apps to install. but android device can have a hundred apps installed. so a drawer would be more efficient. (still opinionated)

not impressed with that article

But wait...if you want to customize, you would naturally download a launcher in Android...Nova gives you the app list option, and I bet others do too.

Somebody's still moping, LOL.

I had a short stint with a Nokia Lumia 520 for kicks, it wasn't bad, and for a budget phone it was surprisingly lag-free and fluid, and the PPI of the screen was decent. it had a lot of what Android did (well, Microsoft alternatives to Play Music/Play Store really) but the UI just didn't do it for me in the end. a lot of my Live Tiles stopped updating at random, specifically Weather. the idea is nice but only when it works. if i have to launch the app to manually update it what good is a Live Tile?

battery life was decent too, never random rebooted, but then i got my Note 3, and the rest was history. as far as budget devices go, Android cheapies suck. often stuck on laggy and crash-happy Gingerbread, but WP isn't too bad if you're looking for a cheap smartphone.
