A 66 year old geek

What is all this don't be shy stuff. I have joined a forum not a popularity contest. I want to find out stuff, I will be genuinely grateful for anything new I learn but I do not do false comraderie until I have at least some experience of who I am communicating with. I have two android devices an LG-P970 Smartphone and a Google Nexus 16gb.
