A better reminder

I previously had an LG Chocolate 3 flip phone. I was accustomed to reminders in the calendar and the alarm clock going off if I missed them for 30 minutes or so. About every 5 to 10 minutes until I cleared them I was reminded. My Core Galaxy Prime lets me know once and that is it. Is there an alarm clock app that has this feature? and a calendar that will nag me to acknowledge it?

You could try Calendar Snooze. Works with any calendar app, lets you specify number of repeats & intervals between them, gives you the option to have a full-screen reminder, and of course lets you snooze the reminder.
