A bit aggravating

Whenever I am on a phone call and my phone rings, the text message ringtone goes off in my ear! It's really loud and scares me lol. Is there any way to disable this because I cannot find it. I looked in the Evo manual and searched through the settings. My G1 wouldn't even notify me if I had a message while on the phone and that sucked too. I'd prefer a little "beep" or something without having to change my notification ringtone.

Any help?

I have an evo too, and before the froyo update, it would only beep during a call, which is MUCH more comfortable than the whole ringtone playing loudly. Since the froyo update, I havent found a way to disable it.

IIRC Tasker has state for both incoming and outgoing calls. You could use this to say something like "when I am on a call turn the ringer volume down to 25%" or temporarily change the text ringtone to vibrate, or whatever.
