Help A concern about the touch screen

Hey

I don't usually play games on my phone but recently I started playing gameboy games using an emulator, and while playing, i'm usually only pressing 2 buttons but very repeatedly (the A and B buttons).

For those of you that are familiar with pokemon games you know how often you have to press A while playing.

I was wondering if repeatedly tapping the same location on the touch screen for long periods of time will damage it? if it does, is it something that's easy to repair?

No it won't wear out. The type of capcitive tehcnology used in the S3 (glass over the capacitive film) means theres nothing to wear out. The electricity running through it doesn't wear it out and you're not physically touching it so its all good.
