A Dilemma...

I am a prospective android user who needs some help. I am definitely buying an android phone come may 1st, but I need help determining which device to go with. My first instinct was to go with the Moto Milestone (Droid to those south of the border) and I have had a chance to play with it and like it, the problem is that I love the idea of the Nexus One, but as I am a canuck I can't get ahold of one (most people in my province have never heard of android let alone the Nexus One...) to play with and figure out, so I am wondering if some fellow users could chime in with their two cents. How does the Nexus One stack up against the Milestone as far as their respective qwerty keyboards go, as well does the extra processor speed on the Nexus One transfer to increased performance?

well milestone in my opinion is an ok phone compared to n1,
Yes n1 is powerful and delivers crispy perfomance,

But i personally prefer htc desire, it an improved and advanced(kind of) version of n1.

So do check out thses three phones before buying .

I had looked into the Desire, but seeing as Canada is behind the times device wise (in my humble opinion) as it stands, I don't find the prospect of waiting for the Desire to launch on a Canadian carrier that appealing, thanks for the advice though.

Alex, what did you like about the Milestone when you were playing with it? What do you want in your phone? I really like my N1, though there are some minor annoyance but I can tolerate them. Read around & do your research. Check out the Rogers (maybe Telus) forum & see what your fellow Canuck have to say about their N1. Rogers will soon be releasing the X10, don't know if you have considered it. Don't hold your breath for the desire, we'd hear some kind of rumours by now if a carrier will carry it. Whatever your decision is, you'll love the android OS :D

Signing off,
Roze
