Without a Note7 there is little point in a dedicated forum, and its going to be interesting to watch the drop out rate here, I have just surrendered my phone and am now and am having to wrap my head around a new S7 Edge as I thought it would give me the closest experience to the Note. Maybe we will meet again at the Note 8, I do hope there will be one.

I bid you farewell.....
 
I'm enjoying the S7 edge so far, I miss the S-pen a little, and I do notice the screen size difference. Maybe I'll see you in the other forum. Cheers!
 
I'm going back to my 6s plus. And see what come out in yhe next few months. I like thr big screen. The s7 edge was cool. But it wasn't a note :/
 
I so miss my Note 7. Just waiting for the box to arrive to ship it back to Verizon. Back to my Note 4.

I just IM'ed Verizon regarding Samsung's $100 credit if you replace with a new Samsung Phone. Thinking about the S7 Edge. First they told me No, they weren't offering it. I asked them to check with the manager and they came back and said yes it would be a bill credit in 1 to 2 billing cycles which I would see at checkout. I did not see it listed.

I really like the Notes but don't really want to invest my contract term of 2 year on a Note 5. Still debating if I should get the S7 Edge or just wait out the next Note or S8. I'm going to go to Verizon this weekend to see if I like the S7 Edge. Figure I'll wait a few days and see what they say about the $100 bill credit in the store.
 
No one loved this phone more than I did. And with me ending up with 521gb of storage thanks to the two free sd cards, it was perfection. Greatest Samsung display and all around looking phone ever. Now I'm gonna have to get a S7 Edge tomorrow and it's sad because this was beyond a shadow of the doubt, the best phone for the second half of the year. The IPhone and the Pixel don't compare. Samsung better BRING IT for the S8...saw the leaks for the S8 earlier today and it better be that and even more. Mediocrity is something I can't get used to but S7 Edge is suitable until I get the S8 in March.
 
It has been a true privilege to talk with you all about the greatest (and most flammable) phone ever sold! I'll happily continue to moderate the Forum until I'm fairly certain that I'm the only one left. At that point, I'll turn off the lights and lock the door.

The greatest, most flammable, and shortest lived phone ever. See you all again sometimes. Now back to my Chinese safe non-flammable long lived OPPO R7 Plus. Although I was looking at Meizu devices again the other day.
 
I'm looking forward to seeing some of you over on the s7 edge forum but as of now Samsung UK are still struggling with courier exchanges.
 
I won't be over on the s7 edge forum or anything related. I'm going back to my old LG G3 which I loved. Going to activate it again this weekend when I have free time so I can set it up yet again. Tired of all this setting phones up for the past 2 months. Oh well. I'll save money by going back to my lg g3 and I'll wait until a note 8 or whatever it will be called comes out.

Ty Chief! I'll see you around! I'll be in the S7 Edge forums. Honestly, thank you again for the heads up on refunds, promos, etc....just waiting on my fire proof box from VZW! Transferred all my data from my beautiful Note 7. I will bring myself to do factory reset this weekend.
 
I have just received confirmation that my S7 Edge will be delivered today. I still will come on this forum from time to time to see what the news is (if any). But I also have now been visiting the S7 forums. Maybe I'll see some of you guys there also.

This has been a very touchy week for me as I'm sure it has for all of you as well. I know today's gonna suck turning off my Note7 one last time :(:(:(

My wife got her S7 Edge on Wednesday, and while it is very close, it's not as comfortable to hold. The front edge and the back edge are just slightly different from each other, while on the Note7, they are completely symmetrical.
 
Even though I did not get my hands on a Note 7, I was about to upgrade in November to one and was really looking forward to it as I have had my note 4 for around 2 years which is going to be handed down to my son. Ah well, looks like the s7 Edge for me until the note 8 arrives....
 
Bye bye Note 7! Pixel XL 128g just preordered....gonna miss my note but excited to see what this Pixel experience is going to be.

Hmm, what does the future hold for me.....?
