Help A few questions regarding the Prime

When docked the tablet should take a charge from the keyboard shouldn't it? I have mine docked, with the dock itself charging but the battery is still going down on the tablet. Is this right?

In Gmail, how to you add a label to an email? I cannot seem to be able to drag and drop a label to apply.

I'm currently downloading GTA 3 which is taking ages on my connection. Can I hit the back or home button to carry on using the tablet or will it stop the download?

:)

in regards to the battery on the prime going down while using the keyboard while the keyboard is charging it.

This is normal.

It drains the tablet bettery and then tops it up as its doing this from the keyboard. but generally the tablet will go down quicker for a while then the keyboard and you will end up eventually with some charge in the tablet and none in the keyboard.

I think it works this way to stop it working out that all the charge from the keyboard goes the the prime, then has to be used to power the keyboard. Guessing its to be more battery efficient i guess.

At least it makes sense in my head.

But yer bottom line is mine does it too so dont worry its normal.

Regarding GTA3, i would let it do what it needs to to and leave it well alone.
I had to redownload and install mine 3 times until it worked properly as it was cutting out the download and not installing properly etc (blaming this on the game not the tablet as its the only thing that has done this and the reviews on the marketplace seem to make it look commonish). So id just leave it personally but you shouldbe able to hit home and do other stuff, in theory...

Thanks for the reply Netherdragon. I guess i`ll see over the next few days how all this charging works.. :-)

I just left GTA running until finished, 116 bloody minutes! All seems good thank god, really did not want to re-download it. :-)

The dock doesn't start charging the tablet until it's at 70% or less. So, if you dock the Prime with, say, 85% charge, it'll run down to 70% and then the dock will start charging it. Dock it with 50% charge, and the dock will start charging it immediately.

This is probably to avoid unnecessary full discharges on the dock, as was the case with the original Transformer (which started charging no matter how much charge the tablet had).
