First blog I've ever seen that isn't a rant or rave. Someone finally figured out things for himself, which is why it's here and not in the Nexus forum.

His giving it a chance would apply to ALL phones. Plus a good reason to unlock ALL phones.

If I were to get a phone it would have to be a Samsung or a Nexus. Leaning more towards Nexus because in the long run it will still be awesome.

I'd say this is more related to the American market, certainly compared to the UK market.

Here if we are getting a contract it tends to include the phone as part off the price, and the total cost seems a lot less than over there. However it's a great phone for the pay as you go market! (E.g. here for say an s4 with 600 minutes, unlimited texts and 500mbs data, on o2 is

I don't know: he pretty much summarised the primary reason I bought a Nexus 4. I mean, the speed, the screen size, the latest version of Android etc was great, but the killer feature was definitely the price

At the time I got the N4, I was eligible for an upgrade on my aging
