hey everyone... lately ive been in a rut... i went to college for computer programming and heres my predicament... lately ive been feeling that any app i think of making is already been made... i could end up being like apple and taking other ideas and making a stew of apps and i like that idea... but the thing IS, i love web apps, but idk if their still relevant because of mobile apps.. id like to get into mobile app desining, but at the same time, i absolutely hate the idea of compiling, testing.. and learning JAVA! my most hated language of all...
so i guess my whole question is, is web app designing still relevant? does anyone REALLY still use their PC? not to mention, do people use the mobile web for web apps? usually theirs native ones that people would rather..
i love cross platform, i hate compiling, i love javascript, but RUE java. id maybe like to try mobile (but java really sets me off and away from it). so what do you guys think? just keep going and go with it? the apps i make are usually just for myself anyways, so i dont mind their popularity.. just worry that my language will die in the future, even "unforseeable future"
