A simple question

I have downloaded several apps on my Eris. How do I customize screens to have my apps on the screens I chose? Also the HTC Mail, do I need to set that up? Is it asking me for a current email address I have or do I need to start a new one?

To get your apps on your home pages: long-touch (hold your finger down on) the screen you want the app on. It'll give you several options including Shortcuts. Select that, and it'll give you more options including Applications. Select that, and select the app you want from the list.

No idea about HTC mail.
