Help A Strange Notification

On New Years Day I sent out a short video message to friends and family as an attachment in Yahoo Mail. The email failed to be delivered the first couple of times I tried to send it and landed in my Out Box, but eventually it was sent.

I completely forgot about the email, until yesterday, when I did a Restart on my Tab 3 8.0, only to have the "failed to deliver" message for that old email in my Notification Bar at the top of the screen at start up. When I select the Notification, it opens up my Email App, but there is no such email, because I deleted the original the day after I sent it, so it shows me an empty Out Box.

Now every time I restart my Tab 3, the same Notification shows up in the Notice Bar.....I can't figure out how to delete this silly thing, once and for all.

Any ideas would be gratefully accepted. :)

The email app will be exactly as it was the first day you turned your tablet on. Its like a factory reset for only one app, it deletes all your account set up, emails and info, but try a cache wipe first as this does not delete any account set up emails etc... it just deletes the apps memory of things like that notification. Have you tried cache wipe?

Hmmm, I'm not sure, you may have to delete data in the email app as that app is responsible for the notification. Other than that I dont know. Maybe someone else has a better idea?

Just a thought, could you look at things, maybe outbox on yahoo directly and see if the email is there and you could delete it. Maybe something is stuck on the server. Alot of times when you fix something on ghe server it fixes it on the email app in android bevause that app simply communicates with the server to load email. Worth a shot? Or maybe I'm completely wrong.
