A2DP Problems

I have a HTC Desire and i know if has A2DP but i cant figure out how to use it. I bought a Jawbone Icon and it also has A2DP and you are suspose to be able to play your music from your phone through it. I can't figure out how to make it work. I have paird the 2 together, i get calls through the bluetooth but music still plays throuh the phone. Please help.

Dunno about the Desire, but on my G1 the device info for a2dp paired devices shows something like "multimedia" and "phone". The phone part is, well, phone audio and the multimedia thing is for a2dp. They are toggleable seperately on my G1/froyo.
