Virtuous is designed to be as close to stock as possible and thus it is the easiest to flash. You do not even have to do a wipe (which is time-consuming if you want all your apps and settings back). Complaints about it not being updated, etc. really don't make much sense, as it's only necessary to update it when the Incredible stock ROM is updated.
I've read the stuff about the "non-current" apps cooked into it, but essentially all of them can be loaded externally, and I killed both the stock Android and HTC music players because of their tendency to autostart when my Incredible is connected via Bluetooth to my Ford.
While I have been happy with Virtuous, I am waiting for Magnolia 1.2 to come out (imminently, according to the developer), as of all the other Sense-based non-AOSP ROM's for the Incredible, it appears most stable.
Incredibly Re-Engineered also appeals to me, and has a dizzying variety of modifications and themes available, but it has one issue still through the current version, and that's no MMS over Wifi, which is a deal-breaker for me because we have only marginal cellular service in the house.
