While the Bottom Line description may seem like it was taken out of an Ebay feedback response, this review was certainly not!

Abduction's a simple game with a simple premise. Your mission is to navigate to the top of the level to reach the UFO which has captured your friends. Using the accelerometer you can control your character left or right to land on various platforms all while bounching off of those platforms.
Along your journey skywards you will run into falling bombs, comrades and gift boxes. You'll clearly want to avoid the bombs as they will cause your instant demise. If you manage to catch one of your fallen comrades you'll be rewarded with points towards your overall score. If you catch a box however, who knows what you'll get!
Much like the random boxes in Mario Kart, the gift boxes in Abduction! have random rewards, sometimes rewarding, sometimes devestating. The two "negative" gifts that are given out are fewer platforms and crumble. With fewer platforms you'll be flying left and right as you try to get to the next platform in time. If you get the crumble "prize" each platform you hit crumbles after you bounce off of it, leaving you with no safe place to land if you miss a platform.
Gameplay
The game offers a variety of ways to play, including a Quick Game mode and an Adventure mode. In Quick Game you can choose from several difficulties as you try to get your way up to the UFO. Also found under this mode you can play the "Infinite" or "Evil Infinite" modes which do not end until you die. You'll also be able to complete various challenges under the "Challenges" mode which sets forth pre-determined scores or objectives for you to complete in a level.
The Adventure mode adds some new level themes and players to choose from as you advance a world of grass, rock and ice to rescue your friends.
There's a lot to do between these various modes and is certain to occupy you or a friend for quite a long time. The adventure mode offered a nice progression aspect to the game and was my favorite. However the free version only has a few levels unlocked, so you'll have to buy the full version if you want the full experience and themes.
Performance
On my HTC Droid Incredible the game runs without a hitch. I've never noticed a hiccup or accelerometer lag at all. If it does struggle on your device the developers thought ahead and offered an in-game option to toggle the graphics down or up depending on your device.
Sound
When I was reviewing this application I noticed the lack of sound and was dissappointed. You'll get sound on high jumps and crumbling platforms as well as your death, but don't expect sound anywhere else. The vibrate function however works well with the game as the device vibrates every time you hit a platform, providing some nice physical feedback from the game.
Conclusion
Abduction is an excellent game with great artwork and jam packed with variety. There's just no reason why you shouldn't have this game on your device. The controls are perfect and the only reason why you'll fall is your own misjudgment, not because the device registered your move wrong. You are in full control, not the device!
Recommendation: Highly recommend. At a price of free, who can argue?
