This is my favorite android game that I discovered just the other day. This is why its the best, The other day My girlfriend dragged me along with her to the mall to go shopping. This usually equals a very very boring day for me. I follow her around like a little puppy from store to store just thinking when I am going to get my next meal and when am I going to get out of here. I was sitting under a mannequin in one of the larger department stores and I remembered my friend telling me about abduction so I decided to go to the app store and download the application. The game provided me with plenty of entertainment the whole time I was shopping and unlike most games where I get bored playing them after five minuets, however abducted kept me interested the whole time I was shopping and my girlfriend even commented on how well behaved I was
The graphics in the game are great and the game also includes many great features that make it fun to play. The goal of the game is to get your cow to jump up to platforms and to eventually try and save your abducted cow friends next stage. Although challenging at times to play some of the features such as safety nets which stop you from falling and high jumps which help you to jump really high will keep you interested and keep the game fun. While you do have to watch out for moving platforms and bombs dropping from the sky this keeps the game fun and keeps you on your toes. The game also works with your accelerometer to move the cow and guide it to the next spot. I found that the game is very responsive, however in my experience the sound seems to have caused some latency, but after turning the sound off in the options the game worked perfectly. The updates that have been coming out also seem to be addressing the latency issue.
The game features many different level themes as well as 23 different characters that you can unlock and play. The kangaroo is my favorite as pictured above there is also a goat that is pretty cool I am not going to mention the others so I don't ruin the surprise. You unlock different characters as you progress in the game. There are some really challenging levels as well. One level there is a cherry blossom tree across the screen which makes it really hard to see but if you want more of a challenge the level is really fun. The game does include 6 difficulty levels and kind of like guitar hero you should start out at the lower difficulty levels and as you get better go up in difficulty. Abduction also has plenty of levels to play something like 54 challenge levels and 22 adventure style levels as well as 9 different scenery options which helps to keep the game interesting and not boring as well.
Tips
-Try and land in the middle of platforms landing on the sides causes them to tilt and may result in a fall
-save falling cows for bonus points
-Try and collects other bonuses that fall but avoid bombs which will kill you
-Jumping to the edge of the screen makes you appear at the other side this is a good technique for reaching far platforms
-Most importantly don't rush take your time and the game will be fun
All in all a great game that is great fun to play there is a free version that I highly suggest you try out to see if you like the game and then you can purchase the game. I would have to rate it 4.0 out of 5 stars the only reason I do not give this 5 is the fact that there have been some latency issues.
