Access the LTE functionality test menu without anycut

You can do this by typing the special code every time but I suggest making a contact with the first name "Z" last name "Hidden Menus" and the dialer code as the phone number. Then all you have to do is dial *#1 and the contact pops up like shown below

Goto your dialer, enter *#147852#

Wait a moment. A box will come up and say "Complete Action Using" and you scroll down to "LTE Functionality Test"

You'll see the "LTE TEST" menu and when you click "Turn OFF" and "Turn ON"

The dialer code used, *#147852#, also gives access to MANY hidden menus. At this point I WOULD ADVISE AGAINST CLICKING ANYTHING ELSE. In my testing I found a few destructive options including some that could erase settings needing a factory reset.

You can also disable LTE requiring a reboot using **33284 which is the same as doing it through **583385##

Edit: If the above doesn't work you may need to enable hidden menus. The hidden menus option is something you can read about here -

Included are instructions to find your MSL (master subsidy lock)

this is the same as using the anycut shortcut to open LTE Functionality Test.
4G comes back after making phone call.

Cool but the anycut method is still faster. Two taps of the finger and LTE is on/off.
You are totally right.
Some people prefer speed,
Some would rather save memory and make a few extra clicks now and then. If I use task manager to kill everything I am down to 131mb ram used :)
