Help Accessing sound recorder

Looking at this discussion at SE's fb then I used ADW 1.1.5 then create "custom shortcut" --> "Activities" ---> browse down to "Sound Recorder" and you can launch the recording app intended for sms attachment. So you see, the Android world works in circles

Can I just add a step in, Long Press>Custom Shortcut>Pick Your Activity>ADW Activities then wait while the screen populates and then scroll down til you find Sound Recorder.

The sound track then appears in your Mediascape Music folder.
