Apps Accessing Wordpress databases via an Android App

Has anyone out there had any experience with accessing Wordpress (blog) databases via an Android App? I am a newbie at Android but I have several blogs via Wordpress and was thinking of an app that could retrieve results from these blogs.

Any advice, links etc on this would be appreciated. Thanks!

You need to make a PHP file to host on the database's web server that will handle the requests and shoot them back to the phone.
