Just another way to keep people at T-Mobile. Because if you leave, EIP is due in full and many people can't handle a big payment.
$700 phone and $200 beats headphones. You do a month of service and decide you suddenly want to leave but realize you will owe them around $860 all at once. Oops now you can't leave lol.
Oh well. It only hurts the people who are already bad with credit anyways.

I'm guessing this will increase accessory sales, but it you need to finance a $100 item over two years just to buy it you might want to reconsider how badly you need it.
