Hey guys, I'm looking into doing a light meter style app that will acquisition the ambient light sensor. I've looked at the docs and played with some apps that make use of the sensor, and I've discovered that the accuracy of sensor can be returned as an integer. This, however, seems to be quite useless, as on my Galaxy Nexus zero is returned indicating that the sensor is unreliable, even while delivering readings. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the reliability of the sensor. +/- on the lux level? Are certain devices better or worse? I think that I'll be able to use the center, but I'd like to know it's margin of error.
