Good Morning everyone i need some help. Before when i had accuweather on my phone i could set it up to follow me and change the weather data as my location changed. But with the current version i have not been able to figure out how to do it. When setting up the app i had the option to choose my current location but i feel it used that to set up my home location because it wont change with me and my location as it used to...can you please help me out, i am going on vacation this afternoon and like how last time it changed with me as we traveled and would provide weather alerts etc. Thanks in advanced for your help.

I just hit the button in the pic the align it with my current location.

I can do that also, i am trying to get it to chance automatically when my location changes. Two years ago when we were traveling, i also use my phone as gps....it would automatically change my location in the weather and would also alert me to the storm warnings of the areas i was in which was nice because we knew what to expect of what were going to be driving into.

I *think* it will still change if you set it. I switch between Accuweather Platinum and Weatherbug Elite depending on which I prefer following the most recent update. I think when you choose set location automatically when you install it it shows as a location, but will change when you relocate. I have to run an errand, let me check and get back to you.

It doesn't work very well. The GPS icon is on, but the address it picks is way off. I've tried enabling the other location service and that doesn't help either. The address Accuweather is using is a no longer on the map subdivision down the hill from me. Being 500 feet higher around here does make a difference with weather.

I'm annoyed that I can't enter coordinates. All my astronomy programs are right on with the coordinates, and so is the NWS and NOAA. This is the paid version.

What's weird is I've seen the app for IOS. It has the jet stream weather map and a few other bits and pieces just like the web site. Wondering if Accuweather considers Android a second class citizen?

What I'm wondering I love accuweather when I'm around home but I just want it to chance with my location. I didn't think that's to hard to ask when every other app does the same. I deleted accuweather and downloaded 1 weather for my trip...it is following really well.

Anyone else having issues with AccuWeather.com widgets no longer updating? I set mine to auto refresh hourly but it suddenly stopped doing that and I have to force it to manual refresh.
