So a few weeks back I decided to try root my Acer. I tried multiple one click applications both on the tablet and on my laptop, all leading to the same corner; Failure. Even though many others had success with the same program, same device, I received a failure message. Yes, USB debugging was on, my drivers were installed. I also tried one more advanced method which involved getting files onto a microSD and installing an update from external storage in the boot menu. My device still failed to root. I downloaded a root checker app and it said 'Not rooted'. However, Sky Go says otherwise. I try to watch something: 'Sorry, Sky doesn't support rooted devices.' So I'm assuming there is still root files on my device hidden somewhere from all my attempts. I'm quite annoyed and I can't install any updates either as my battery is stuck at 1% (Not sure if that's relevant) and I get the 'Device modified' message when I try! So I just wanna complete the root process once and for all.. Any ideas? I wish I could provide links to programs I tried but I just can't remember. Sorry D:... Thanks
