Acreage Calculations

I'm trying to figure out acreage of my RV lot. I've looked at few acreage calculators, but they only do square lots. My RV lot is a large triangle. Here are the measurements:

Front of lot by the road 48.7 feet
Length 125.85 feet
Width at the end of the lot 106.37 feet

Is anyone good at math to figure out acreage?

Are both sides 125.85 feet? You could get close by going with a 48.7 X 125.85 rectangle and a triangle with a base of 57.67 X 125.87. This would result in 9758 +/- square feet.

If you have a metes and bounds description I may be able to make that more accurate.

Is it an actual triangle, or a trapezoid? It sounds like you're describing a trapezoid.

If it's a triangle it would be 2,533 square feet or 0.058 acres. For a trapezoid I got the same answer as Unforgiven - 9,758sf or 0.224 acres.

Yes, it is a trapezoid and to be honest I didn't know what a trapezoid was until I looked it up. Yes both sides are 125.85 feet.

0.224 acres sounds correct for the size.

Here the lot

48.7' is the road in the front of my lot
106.37 is the river the end of my lot

I should note the trapezoid shape is due to the start of almost an 80 degree bend where the river feeds into a large branch of the river.

I am not good with math. I absolutely suck at it in high school (I did fairly well trigonometry and geometry and got through fractions). My daughter is apparently really good at math, the area giving her a bit of a problem is volumes but she will keep at it until she finally understands it.
