Action on wake up

Hi all,

When pressing the Home Key or Power Key to wake up the phone, whether after PIN input or not, it defaults to the phone dial pad screen. Is it possible to nominate the Home Screen direct and save a keystroke?

Thanks. On that basis, I've searched the manual for "launch" and "launching". All that does is tell me how to launch stuff. I also searched "start" with no result. The settings options for the Phone page don't help either.

Ian, a launcher controls your home screen and different functions, I would try installing a different launcher from the play store, such as Nova launcher, and see how it works compared to your stock launcher, which seems to default to your call screen when you wake the phone.

Hi again,

I tried Nova but all it did was load the apps in alphabetical order and I couldn't see any way of tailoring the screen to give me the home page I want and can get with the standard Samsung app. I'd rather put up with the annoyance of the Phone screen. It's just one extra click.
